Funke Akindele Break Law?

Hian! Leave Funke Akindele o!

Na animals go the party?!

We forget we are INDIVIDUALLY responsible for our own life. Anyone is free to invite anyone but it is up to you to go or decline.

As I mentioned on my handle again and again, celebrity status is a garb that can be thrown in the garbage at anytime!

I heard she apologised. Tele nko. She is the least of our problems now. We love her and appreciate her movies and advocacy but let’s ensure those who joined her irresponsible party are locked down so others do not pay for their madness. Sebi Governor of Oyo is now paying... Coro no corrupt o!

Why una dey blame her?

She had a right to host a party in a private space. Her advocacy was on distancing in public space. No advert so far (to the best of my knowledge) has advocated distancing between parents or within a home. Mrs. Aisha Buhari hugged her daughter when she returned from isolation. Those within Aso Rock even now are well above 50! How socially distant have they been? Police Officers and other security agents being briefed (as seen on videos making rounds) did not observe social distance of 3-6 feet.

If people succeeded in getting to the venue, blame a corrupt government! If dem talk say no movement, no one should be able to drive to a party but of course many of the celebs have olopa aka police. There was a way it was done during the elections so much so that altercation happened not at blocked points but at poll centres.

#stoptheSPREAD

If people decided to risk their lives, respect their right. The only problem is that such people should be traced and locked down in their own homes, with auto arrest option IF they step out within 2 weeks after the party because they can put the populace at risk, if they got infected.

Yes she behaved irresponsibly but I am not in support of her arrest... That is wrong, if indeed the event took place under her roof. Rather, those who violated the law by attending from outside should be arrested.

If 50 people are living under my roof, we can have a barbecue, whether we choose to dress down or up. We already know we are safe if no one has displayed symptoms or left the house in two weeks. For this virus symptoms show. It could be mind but it shows.

When people want to argue, we need to use the law. What does the so called social distancing order say? What does it even mean? We just import useless words.

I was on a plane, social distancing was not observed! To observe it on planes, seating would have had to change. I was at three international airports recently, social distancing was not observed.

Those in face-me-I-slap-you can they do social distancing even without party? The homeless, can they space themselves?

Presido wey do Jumat, una don arrest am? COAS Abba Kyari wey fly go Lagos or St. John Woods abi na Wellington, una don arrest am? He broke the quarantine act by flying to Lagos or wherever. Before this, put lives at risk by not going into self isolation following international travel. Makinde, considered to be a good governor by his people, wey do rally, una don arrest am?

Yes, Funke Akindele should know better as an ambassador of NCDC and repercussion should follow but spending state funds to arrest her is a waste.

Who is under lock and key for madness happening at airports now in the name of evacuation? You must have seen the airport show of virus-loading video.

Didn’t the advisory on 21.03.20 read that international airports would be closed? Why then the addendum on the broadcast that na case by case.

Who is evacuating Nigerians from other countries. Was social distancing prescribed for inside homes or market?

This is where I don’t understand many Nigerians. An order that is ambiguous is not an order, it is confusion.

Social distancing was already in force when the President of the FRN attended Jumat Service! Did he explain? Should NCDC have responded to hearsay? Who investigated Funke?

The Imam of mosque where members mobbed security agents, is he in jail? What of members who attended? COZA Pastor, is he in jail? PDP Governors who organised and put lives at risk with rally, are they in jail?

What does the policy (or order) say? No gathering of more than 50 (then later 20) people in *PUBLIC* space.

The party as well as organisers may be irresponsible but it/they violated no law, if she held it in her own space.

What exactly is she guilty of? If party happen under Obalende bridge, where participants live, who una go arrest?

The arrest should go to anyone who drove to attend and to all those who failed to forestall such movement.

Friends had things to drop for me, I had things to give them. They made a decision to leave mine at my door then ran to their car from where they waived to me... I made a decision not to step out to give them what I had for them; let’s treat each other like lepers if that is how we interpreted distancing or what it would take to live through this period. #CovidSense

I don shout widow abuse and inheritance fraud tire and showed proof, even @officialEFCC @PoliceNG @LagosChiefJudge that promised to investigate behaved like they suffered amnesia, who arrested the fraudsters? We have lost investment in million$$, who invited them for investigation.

But people shouted on a celebrity and oya, somebody ordered removal of all her videos (whose money dem take do the videos), oya arrest her, not during the party but after. If she already has the infection, all those who arrested her are at risk.

There was ABSOLUTELY no law for inside our homes or offices (there could not have been in a country where average of 3-5 people share home/room and about 7 may share room in areas like Israel Eko, Ajegunle, Mushin), suggestion was made...

You disobey at own personal risk!
