I wish to declare my intention to serve the people of Ekitiland as Governor - Dr. Mojisola Kolade
It is a known fact that calls for new entrants in Nigeria’s political scene have besieged the new media. No doubt the candidacy of a female technocrat who is qualified politically and career wise is news and one worthy of the highest level of coverage and support.
On February 15, 2018 at the APC Headquarters in Ado Ekiti, Dr. Christiana Mojisola Kolade will, barring unforeseen circumstances, declare publicly her intention to run under the APC as a Governorship Aspirant in Ekiti State.
Highlights of the declaration will include her speech and goodwill messages from reputable sons and daughters of Ekitiland.
Dr. Mojisola, a daughter of Ekitiland, is an accomplished medical practitioner who wishes to serve the people of Ekiti. Her antecedents include 34 years of leadership in business, pacesetting in politics and dogged commitment to the ideals of philanthropy.
It is a known fact that the incumbent is nearing the end of his governorship term; this creates an opportunity for a new dawn in Ekiti State, which Dr. Kolade intends to sign into.
Dr. Mojisola Kolade is undeterred by the fact that the state boasts of a number of qualified leaders. In declaring her intention, she hopes to gain the support of the young and old, men and women, rich and poor; people of all levels, abilities, ethnic groups and faith, as all hands would be required to clinch the APC ticket for Governorship in Ekiti.

The freedom of choice is the bane of democracy. She is qualified and wishes to position herself early for the task of winning the support of the people of Ekiti State for her aspiration towards seeking the role of Governor in 2019.

ABOUT DR. CHRISTINA MOJISOLA KOLADE
Dr. Christina Mojisola Kolade was born to Julius and Agnes Ebunoluwa Adebayo-Yaya in the Araromi Quarters in Oye-Ekiti LGA of Ekiti State. She thereafter attended St. Anne’s Primary School and Egba High School in Abeokuta. As a teenager, she was passionate about caring for others. Her heart of care saw her attending University College Hospital and Sacred Heart Hospital where she received diplomas in Nursing and Midwifery respectively. With an opportunity to study abroad, she attended St. John’s University in New York, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
In 1984 young Mojisola found love in the kind heart and caring arms of Ebenezer Adekunle Kolade from Erin-Ijesha, Osun State. The journey of marriage with her heartthrob has been a blissful one. Prof. Ebenezer Kolade who began his study at the University of Ibadan in 1981 is today a renowned Clinical Professor of Medicine. Among other noteworthy accomplishments, he is a Fellow of American College of Physicians (FACP).
After a brief career as a pharmacist, Dr. Mojisola Kolade enrolled in the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, ultimately graduating as a Medical Doctor. She went further to complete a post-doctoral training in family medicine and became a board certified Consultant Physician. Over the course of a thirty-four year career in healthcare and business, Dr. Mojisola Kolade has worked as a Staff Physician and Vice President at New Era Rehabilitation Center, of which she is a cofounder. She has continued to dedicate her time to various philanthropic causes. Presently, she is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Irede Farms, Nigeria. L
